Microsoft Corp. announced the availability of long-awaited new version of Office 2011 for Mac. Among the key features of the product of a separate mention should be returned by the support of Visual Basic, replacing e-mail client Entourage on Mac-version of Outlook, as well as tight integration with online services from Microsoft.
In addition to the standard for any office suite of tools for working with text (Word), spreadsheet (Excel) and presentations (Powerpoint), Office 2011 for Mac offers a new version of Outlook, combining tools for working with email, calendar and address book. One of the priorities facing the developers of Outlook 2011, was to ensure close and effective interaction of the product with mail servers, Microsoft Exchange. This feature will appeal to corporate Mac-users.

The package has a compatibility with online tools to organize collective effort from Microsoft, such as Windows Live SkyDrive, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Office Web Apps. Now engineers can work together on documents, regardless of their current location. The only condition is that you are connected to the Internet.

The Return of VBA-Script provides support for complex forms, macros and other "advanced" features familiar to users of Windows. And thanks to new tools for layout and editing digital images, users can create diversified, vivid graphics, documents without having to use other applications.

Office 2011 for Mac comes in three editions - Home & Student, Home & Business, and Academic. Home & Student version includes products Word, Excel and PowerPoint and can be installed on three custom computer. In the editorial board of Home & Business, besides the three listed applications, also includes a client Outlook. Finally, the academic version offers all four of office applications at a reduced price.
