After the critical acclaim and widespread success of the 1st album trying to fuse a brand new genre, the groove train is back with some more foot thumping funky tunes for the 2nd album which will take the funk and jazz up a whole notch. The new single ‘Nikhoj’ is a sign of things to come in the upcoming album, and the track is a tribute to the legendary king of blues Robert Johnson’s track ‘Crossroads’.
GrooveTrap announces that, the second album will consist of 12 new songs, among which 11 will be in English, and 1 (Nikhoj) is in Bangla. The decision of doing the album in English is a product of many discussions, and since GT is not your mass friendly band, it is obvious that the fans we have will appreciate an English album as much as a Bengali.
