The history of music is full of concerts to benefit someone. From time immemorial there were the musicians who played for cuts or kings. Music was often the excuse to bring people together behind a common cause.

Perhaps the first rock concert of international significance in this line is this: George Harrison who managed to assemble to cry with hunger in Bangladesh.
At that time, George had a close relationship with Ravi Shankar , the famous Bengali musician. Between them they hatched the work. Recorded on August 1, 1971 at Madison Square Garden in New York, was the first public appearance of Harrison after the official separation of the Beatles. I got it to 320 @, in the remastered version of 2005, with the artwork and bonus tracks that were not on the original vinyl.
